    Excellent end of work week dinner with Fiancee, Sister and Bro-In-Law...  rolled the dice and had the server select my meal... funny and entertaining thing I like to do from time to time...  

    At any rate, service was excellent, server was friendly, knowledgeable and a. It thrown at first with my request for her to pick my meal.  

    Meals at the table were the special Lobster Manicotti, Chille Colorado Burrito, Creamy Pesto Pasta (sans mushrooms and artichoke hearts) and my surprise were the bomb ass chowy ribs!!!

    This place never fails to please and delight...

    Pasta! Pasta! Pasta! So yummy! Quiet little restaurant tucked in downtown La Grande OR. Great pasta, good wraps and great service!

    We found Mamacita's on Yelp based on others reviews. We easily found parking and were seated quickly. The wait staff was helpful and very polite and attentive. The menu choices are plentiful.  We were very happy with our selections:  Chile Colorado Burrito and Meatball sandwich-filling and delicious.  Highly recommended.

    A lot of restaurants seem to come and go in La Grande with short-lived tenures, but Mamacita's is one of those places that has been around for awhile and seems to be staying that way.

    I tried the French Pepper Steak and chose pesto pasta as a side.

    The steak was cooked exactly as I asked and was super tender and flavorful! I've been here numerous times and definitely regret not trying it sooner.

    Decided to try Mamacita's based on existing reviews and we weren't disappointed.  We ordered take-out pasta and the staff was very friendly and the food ready in the estimated 20 minutes, so we had a nice hot meal in or hotel room.
